Eachtime a baby feeds on breast milk or bottle milk, it swallows air (~90%). Burping a baby after each feed will allow release of gas and hence prevent feed regurgitation and abdominal colic in infants. It has also been seen to be useful in preventing GER ( Gastroesophageal reflux).
Two Methods have been demonstrated in the video.
1. Over the Shoulder method
2. On the Lap method
Find which suites you best and don't worry if baby does not burp each time.
Hope the video helped you solve your queries.
